What information do we collect?

On our website we don’t monitor behavioural patterns and hold no data on mouse and keyboard patterns, thus user activity remains unobserved. If you register your data will be collected and stored on the database for use in order processing and should you place an order yourself we will hold your information for 7 years and will be deleted after this period.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent, however additional information you may provide us with may be used to personalise your visits to our web site.

Registering

 Only trade users are able to register on the Trade Zone of our website. By trade user, we mean a company, organisation or individual trader who buys or intends to buy Gardeco products, for re-sale to the general public. Members of the general public will not be allowed access to the trade pages. To register with our website trade pages, you will need to give us your full name, title, company name, address and at least one telephone number as well as your e-mail address, telephone numbers and a fax number. To register please follow the steps.

Members of the public can register as such when placing orders, or can place orders as a guest visitor. We do not use or sell this information to third parties.

Placing an order

When you place an order, you will need to provide a full delivery address. This may be the same as the address used when doing the registration, or it may be different, when the product you want is to be delivered elsewhere.

How we use the information collected

We use the information to deliver your orders, so your delivery address will be passed onto the transport company making the delivery. In the case of delivery to an end-user on your behalf, we will pass the consumer?s address to the transport company.

We will from time to time e-mail you a newsletter or information concerning new products or special offers. If you decide you don?t want to receive this information, please e-mail unsubscribe@gardeco.co.uk.

The information you give us is kept securely in our company. Our employees only have access to the information they need to process your queries and orders. All our employees sign a non-disclosure contract. All our computers are password protected and access to information is strictly controlled. We do not pass your details onto any other third parties.
